PT 10 Stock Plugins Missing

I recently had an issue with PT10. All of a sudden it would crash on loading any plugin. Uninstalled/installed 4 times......nothing. Finally figured out it was the DEP settings in windows.

Once running again, all Didgidesign stock plugins were missing and I have no idea on how to get them back.

Please......I need some help!!!

I have had exactly the same problem. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling PT10 about 4 times but everytime all stock pluggins are missing.

Hi guys,

I recently started a new thread on this after battling the same problem for a day or 2...


Go to your dvd or download installer and navigate the folder - \PT10\Pro Tools\Pro Tools Installer\ISSetupPrerequisites\Avid Effects.
Then manually install Avid effects setup. I don't know if this is the normal way to do it or if there is a problem with the main setup file but this works.
