Pro Tools 8 manual - download?

is it possible to download the pro tools 8 manual without buying the software? i am waiting until about the end of january/early february to get a 003+ rack but i would like to start looking over the manual before hand.

is there anywhere i can download the pdf?

another stupid question probably but is the manual available in printed form in the UK? will i get it when i buy my hardware?

At some point you should be able to order a printed manual from the Digistore although I don't see them there yet. They don't exist anywhere else that I'm aware of, other than maybe ebay, but I would doubt a PT8 manual would be up there already. The PDF manual is included on the PTLE installer CD and will be in Applications->Digidesign->Documentation->Pro Tools.

cool, any idea how much the thing might be from the digi store? ive just opened it up and i see its 1112 pages long!

i have just emailed a printing place near me to see if they can print and bind something like that and how much it might cost...

£22 pounds seems pretty reasonable. annoying that it does not just come with the hardware though.

hope i do not have to wait too long as manuals are useful for getting me through my lunch break at work!
