I recorded my session on a pc and I need to know how to transfer the files to a cd so that I can pull them up in another studio on their mac so they can mix it down .

The answer depends on which Mac OS they're running.

IT's either OS 9 or OS 10 I'm pretty sure. when I tried to pull the file up on the mac it tells me that it can not read it , but when I put the cd back in my PC it pops up

Find out which OS.. telling us it's either OS 9 or OS X is like saying "my car uses either gas or diesel, what should I put in it?"

Either way.. you'd find plenty of detailed info on the DUC by searching for previous threads or reading the FAQ thread.

If they're running OS X.. all you have to do is save the session as Mac/PC compatible. Before you burn the CDR(s).. go to the File menu and use Save Session Copy In..., select to copy the audio files and set the option for Mac/PC compatible. Burn the CDR(s) from the new folder.

Then make sure that the Joliet extension is installed under OS 9 if you're using CDR's... there's a link in the 3rd party downloads section of the Digi site.
