Nope, not with electrical signals down those cables running at a good fraction of the speed of light. That is why a hardware/wired solution is a often a better overall approach here than software, if it was not the case folks here would not be recommending it to you.

I use a Geffen kvm extender over cat 5 to the drum kit. Works great
