Waves Plug In Problems in PTle Help appreciated
I am having a problem with Waves Platinum pack in Pro Tools LE 6.1. I am running the Mbox hardware.
The problem I am having, is that after pro tools loads, it works extremely slow. Like when I push play on the transporter, it takes several seconds before the session starts to play. When I uninstall Waves Platinum, it no longer does it. I have tried uninstalling both Pro Tools and waves several times, to no avail. It still makes for slow opoeration in Pro Tools. Any suggestions on how I can use these plugins and get better performance? Any ideas what the problem might be? Thanks guys. |

How much physical RAM do you have installed.. and are you running any other apps at the same time?

Re: Waves Plug In Problems in PTle Help appreciated
I am running the bare minimal on Ram, and a 1.7 gig processor.
I simply cannot get this to work for nothing. I can udnerstand it taking some time for the plugins to load, but after PT is already up and running, it simply wont play without a several secaond delay to think first. There must be some way around it. I really need this Waves bundle usable in Pro Tools. |

Re: Waves Plug In Problems in PTle Help appreciated
Try moving all the waves plugs except the ones you need imediately to the plugin unused folder. I had a similar problem on my old ram deficiant system and that was the workaround. If it works you can just record the effected files to another track, disable the plugs, shut down PT, switch the plugs from the used to unused folder and keep on working, Some more RAM would probably be a big help.

I don't think that will work because waves uses a shell, not individual plug-ins in DAE.
