Default Control 24 All Lit up problem

Hi Folks,
I live in Grenada and we just had our Control 24 delivered to us from the States. We've owned this unit for four years. We got it down here and turned it on and got the infamous "Christmas Lights" problem. All lights turn on and stay on. Faders snap to attention and move only as groups. I have read several posts on this forum suggesting that I open the power supply and re-seat all of the molex connections. I did this and had the same result - all lit up, and stayed lit.
I hear a hissing/humming noise from the toroidal transformer and I noticed some brown/red liquid stuff on the tape around it.
What do you think I should do?

I can't send the unit back, and I can't get a tech down here.

Here are two photos with the arrows indicating where the humming/hissing noise is coming from and where I see the brown red liquid.

Hey Nima,
Is the red liquid actually runny or is it set hard?
Most transformer makers use a kind of varnish to coat the windings in the transformer and sometimes the laminated cores too. This prevents excessive rattles and hums.
Most switched mode power supply units like these have a high pitched whistle or hiss so this is not abnormal in my experience.
If you are handy with a test meter you can check the voltages on the moles pins and see if there are any missing which would indicate a power supply problem.
There is a thread in this section about a cheap repair option.
If you are an techy type there is the capacitor problem which seems to be a major cause of power supply failure (Again search this forum)
Let us know how you get on..
Cheers
