Open Ended Record Allocation
I have a 002 Rack, running LE 7.0 on a MusicXPC. XP home OS. I believe my issue originates in the setup/preferences/operations menu. Specifically, open ended record allocation. I get a message-"Could not allocate space for recording" . I have tried all kinds of values in "Limit To: " and also "Use all available space". I have tried opening new tracks, also not working. I have 'R" in the A and V columns next to my hard drives in workspace. I can record up to 3 tracks at once, but I need to record 8 at once.

Re: Open Ended Record Allocation
How much available space do you have on the hard drive?

40 GB
I had no problems before, this is "all of a sudden". |

Re: Open Ended Record Allocation
Perhaps I should mention I have 2 more drives... along with the 60 GB drive (with 40 GB space left) I have 120 GB and 300 GB drives.
