HELP-PT6.1 and different Accounts

I am trying to setup two accounts in OS 10.2.8 to use with Pro-Tools. For some reason when I create the second account Pro-Tools crashes when loading the plug-ins. Is this normal? Is there a way of making two accounts work?

My setup:
G4, 733, System 10.2.8, PT 6.1, HD3.

Are they both admin accounts? I don't think that 6.1 will work under a non-admin account.

yup... they're both administrator accounts. Anything I may be doing wrong?

We had the same problem on 6.2.3/OSX 10.3.2 with 8 accounts.

Do you by any chance have autotune(v3.27 or below) as one of your plug-ins?

If so, try taking it out of the plug-ins folder and trashing it, whilst logged in to the second account. Then reinstall it in that account. Do the same thing back in the first account.
Its a copy protection/permissions issue. Autotune is the only plug-in that does this, although they fixed it for AT4.

If you don't have autotune. I can't help you. Sorry!

You know what... I was just about to mention the auto-tune thing. I have Auto-Tune 3.27. And it seems to be crashing when loading it. I will take it out and see what happens.... I have a feeling that's it.
