Hello People,
This is the first time for me to venture into this recording territory. I just got a new Quartet and am planning a recording session this coming Sunday. I'm planning on using my Quartet with my Rosetta (8-channel, it has the Firewire X card) and possibly my Duet 1. My questions: 1) Anybody have any experience using the Quartet (Q) and Rosetta (R)? 2) Which one would be better as the aggregate device? 3) Do I need to connect them via WC cable for syncing the clocks? 4) Any other things I need to think about? So my first thought is to record at 96K, which would give me 12 in. If we decide that 96K is overkill then I would plug the R digitally into the Q. Any words would be appreciated - thanks.
