I'm trying to map a sample that I dragged into structure from the pro tools timeline.
When I change the start and end points, the sample doesn't play back at all. When I right-click in the wave window and choose "Restore Cut", I'm able to move the start and end points and get the proper playback. However, when I moved around the start point, I got a "poof" crash. Also, it seems to show the entite pro tools track where the sample came from. Changing the start and end points of a sample within a factory patch works properly. Anyone? |

I'm trying to do this:
http://www2.digidesign.com/PTA/PTAcc...ml?langid=100& At 1:39 in this video, he changes the end point of the sample. If I do this on my machine, the sample will not play back. If I choose "Restore Cut" from the Right-click menu within the waveform, I can then change the points and continue to hear playback. "Restore Cut" is not described anywhere in the user guides. Clearly something is broken, I'm doing the exact same thing he is doing in the video. |
