G5 Fan Wierdness since PT 7?
I know there might be several who have similar configurations that we do that's why I'm posting here.
It seems like since upgrading to PT 7 since it first came out we have been having slightly higher fan noise from the G5. It will also gradually speed up and slow down. Initially i thought this might be the processor setting in system pref, but none of the settings seems to behave different (automatice, highest or lower) I have also tried experimenting with playback preferences within PT7. I have switched from 2 processor to 1 processor and varied system usage to no avail. Any thoughts from anyone would be greatly appreciated. The current setup on this rig is G5 Dual 1.8 (2nd generation) 2G RAM / 10.4.3 OS / PT7.1cs6 / HD3 Accel thanks, Mike
