Default HD on a MacBook Pro (Expansion Chassis)

Hi, can I successfully work in an environment HD2 on my intel MacBook Pro (Leopard 10.5.7) using Magma Expansion Chassis with 2 or 4 slots? PCI or PCIe? What can you give advice on this matter.
