Eucontrol 2022.9 Crash

I haven't read all the details of this thread, but I thought I'd just chime in.
I'm using SSL Native Channelstrip on most all tracks in all sessions. I move these plugins around from time to time, but it never crashes EuControl. It's been stable for a long time.

I've seen one thing, though; I often have the same session open in the background, for days sometimes. And then one day, one of two things often happen; I come to the session, and as I press play I get 'error, playback failed, please increase AAE memory'. Solution is simple; I close and reopen the session and everything is fine. (I've not seen this happen since I set the disk cache to 'Normal', we'll see how that goes. I was thinking memory build up of some sort, but ActMon says no problem, BTW.)

The second thing that can happen is that PT is working fine, but Eucontrol is not, and opt-cmd-esc says Eucontrol 'not responding'. I force quit and launch again and all is well.

I installed the SSL bundle and still was not able to reproduce the crashes you're seeing. Could you send me logs from EuControl (click on EuControl icon at the top right then select "Collect Support Files")?

It would be great to get your Custom Knob Maps too which is a little trickier to find (~/Library/Preferences/Avid/Consoles/KnobMaps). I can send you more detailed directions directly if needed

I use eucontrol 2022.9. in fact, pro toools doesn't crash, just eucontrol.

You can't share them here on the forums.
You need to put them on a shared service (dropbox, icloud, g-drive, etc.) and then send the link to the files by private messaging or email (click on his name and you'll see those options)
