Default Keyboard shortcuts question.

Hi!
I´m really working on to use the mouse so little as possible when working.
What I miss is shortcuts for Record, solo and mute buttons. I guess there is´nt any?
It would be so neet to be able to do that when navigating trough tracks.

It would be nice to hear from anyone about your workflow mouse/shortcut wise.

Peter

The keyboard shortcut for record is F12 and/or 3 on the keypad. I don't think there is a shortcut for solo or mute.

It shure would be neat with a "whatever key" keyboard mapping utility to map whatever knob or parameter to eitner a key or MIDI device knob one chooses.

Turn on, Key/MIDI Mapping, select a control in PT LE or a plugin, touch a key on the keyboard or MIDI device. ****ch of Key/MIDI Mapping.

Voila, it is mapped. Also "groups or sequences of commands" could be mapped to one key - for more complex manipulations.

Compare with the Ableton Live features.

Cheers,
- J

As former SX user I´m used to choose my keycommands. But I see no problem with not having
this option in PT. I got rather confused when trying to get some Logic setup when choosing
keys. But I miss some key commands in PT, like "Record enable track" and in SX there is possible to
make macros (groups of commands). I had 2 or 3 of those so for me personally it was´nt a big deal.

The good thing with not having user configurable keycommands is that everybody has the same.
