Default Best 1073 Emulator in AAX DSP?

I have the Lindell 80, I have the Amek 9099 but I'm looking to see what else is out there cause I can't find anything that really comes close.

Not much in the AAX DSP world. UAD is pretty awesome under their DSP though.

As far as I know none of the Lindell plug-ins are AAX DSP. It’s what has stopped me from picking those up. I own all the BX channelstrips since they are all AAX DSP. The Neve and Focusrite strips are the closest to a 1073 EQ you can get in AAX DSP. You can also try the MCDSP 6050 that came with the Carbon and use the “British E” module.
I have personally been looking for a good LA2A AAX DSP to use for tracking vocals.

The BF-2a that comes with the Avid Complete plugins collection doesn't suck...McDSP Ultimate Compressor also has the Optical module that works really well.

McDSP does do the 1073 thing pretty well with either Filterbank or the British E module on their 60 series plugins

Yes I have been using the McDSP Optical Module on the 6050. I still miss the UAD LA2A TDM version. I’m contemplating on picking up a hardware LA2A again for my vocal chain. I would feed it from one of my 1073mic pre’s. Looking at some of the 500 series LA2A’s

I actually use Avid's old bomb factory 1176 ALL THE TIME! It's actually really good. And I have the all UAD 1176 versions. Just cuz it's free, doesn't mean it's no good.

Went with the Pulteq 1A. I used bombfactory for drums on Boom but always felt that it choked my vocals. Can’t figure out the settings for high frequencies. Rupert Neve took shots at the Pulteq in his interview with Vintage Audio so I had to go there, only thing is it pulls DSP like crazy. Would love to see a DSP chart for Plug-in Alliance, similar to this one: https://help.uaudio.com/hc/en-us/art...AD-2-DSP-Chart

I have their channel strips too, both great sounding. You can kind of see the Neve and the Focusrite as the next stage, or two in the evolution of the 1073, so sonically they're kind of close with a new and improved quality to the sonics. But that's also what makes them different to the 1073 as well.

You can also consider looking at the V-Series with the eqs modelled on the 1066, 1073, and the 1081 while the compressor is modelled on the classic 2254. They're an older set of plugins and lack some of the newer features, but they still sound good after all this time.
