Default Track consolidation bug?

Occasionally when I consolidate a track a burst of digital distrotion appers...It's not on an edit point or anything I can see as being a problem area to fix...Is this a software issue or a user issue haha...

thanks for your time a support...

I have never had a problem with the Consolodate Track command on any PT system. If you would post your computer / PT version number / and Hardware I'm sure someone here will help you out.

I’m guessing it’s a core-level OS software issue — look at how it scrambles something as basic as words. Sounds like a Cabotrozobic Decontamination is in order.

PS: Forgive me — I couldn’t rezkzzzt… kr kr kr kr. Hhhhhhmmmmm ttaazt tat [ou zzzzzzz. ( What the…) Ding!
(Let that be a lesson to… er, me?)

This occured for me too in the days when I was having OS 9 and PT MIX 5.1. I don't think it's a bug in that sense. Ususally reformating drives made it more rare.

Defrag the drives regularly.
