Dante Network with multiple Pro Tools systems and Focusrite X2Ps
I am running a Mac Pro with a Sync HD, 2 x HDX cards, a MTRX Studio and 2 x Focusrite HD32Rs connected on a Dante network with a Mac Mini running as a Dolby Atmos Renderer also connected to the same network.
I also have 2 x Focusrite X2Ps connected to the same network in 2 separate booths. I would like to be able to use these Focusrite X2Ps on another Mac Pro in a separate studio that's using a Sync HD and a HDX card with 3 x 192s and a Focusrite RedNet5 to gain access to the Dante network. Is it possible to have both machines on the same network, or will I potentially get clocking issues when running Dante on both machines? Should I have 2 separate Dante Networks for each machine? Both machines are also running Pro Tools Ultimate. |
