mbox+midi+operation with other programs
would I have any problems recording audio trough the Mbox and recording midi through the games port on my motherboard. The motherboard is made by gigabyte and I don't have any problems working with it at the present.
Also can you use the Mbox as a sound card and record onto other programs instead of pro tools.

Hi!
I had an Mbox and used an Oxygen8, but via the USB MIDI it had. Currently, I use my SB Live! Gameport-MIDI alongside my AMIII and my 001, no problems. Possible latency issue with Gameport-MIDI, but shouldn't be a problem. For assurance of use, I would try to find a place that will let you try it to see. Some online music retailers offer the option to try for X number of days. I have not used that before, so I cannot say for sure however.

I used to have my good ol' Yamaha keyboard connected to the midi/game port. Never experienced any problems with that.
