Default S1 Factory Reset?

I'm having issues and would dearly like to do a factiry reset - Anyone knon and voodoo fir this

F/W is up to date but the unit is not talking to PT (it is reconnsed and claimed in Eucon)

When plugged in tho it just crashed PT with the multi coloured WOD and or just sties there looking nice but moving faders or button does nothing

Any ideas much appreciated

I have another unit works perfecly so I have ruled out most config / mac / networking - I think...

Opened a case with Avid but have low expectations of that !?

Did you pull the power cord out and leave it unplugged for at least a minute? Sometimes that is suggested. It's helped me with some "Dead Fader" moments.

if you go to the Surfaces tab, select the S1, hold shift+command and click firmware update, you can force a firmware update even if it says it is up-to-date. Might help.

The switch on the back is not a hard power but a soft power on/off. You need to pull the power to do a hard power cycle. This might also help you.

I think that just resets it to DHCP. Firmware update resets the firmware. There are no other settings in the unit.
