Default Eleven Rack L/R not appearing in my input selector

I am fairly new to the Eleven Rack and Im attempting to record guitar parts to an existing Pro Tools 10 session.

I do not see Eleven Rack L/R as an option on my Input selector.

I went to I/O settings in pro-tools and used the default path.

I used In 1-2 (Stereo) and can only record a clean guitar track without my selected 11 rack rig choice.

Im quite confused.

Can anyone help?

Pro Tools version 10.x?

OS?

Driver version?

What kind of track are you trying to use?

Are there any other interfaces connected to the computer?

Is the Eleven Rack selected as the interface?

Is the Eleven Rack connected directly to the computer or a hub?

I am running my eleven rack as a standalone interface for protools version 10.3.5. It is connected to my laptop via usb.

My mac laptop is a 2.7 gb intel processor with 16gb ram os version 10.8.5.

I am attempting to arm a track for recording. I have a 1/4" guitar cable using the guitar input.

My protools program recognizes the 8 inputs the eleven rack provides.

I am unable to audition different rig patches and record them. I can only record a dry signal which leaves me with wav files encoded with the eleven rack monogram.

Sorry for being so vague.
thanks

Again.

What kind of track are you trying to use? (audio? midi? instrument? -- You should start with a clean session using one of the Eleven Rack templates, say "Guitar Tracking + Reamping". Go try that. What happens?).

Are there any other interfaces connected to the computer?

Is the Eleven Rack selected as the interface? (what is the playback engine set in the Setup>Playback engine dialog? Don't guess go look). Even better post a screen shot of that dialog.

What is the Eleven Rack driver version?

---

Do you have the eleven rack workign stand-alone OK>

Did you defaults all inputs in the Setup>IO>input page?

The Eleven Rack "Eleven Rig L/R" (where the processed guitar signal appears) is inputs 3/4 if for whatever reason your labeling is corrupted.

Post screen shots of your edit window showing IO assignments on each track and post a screenshot you setup>IO>Input window.

---

Are you looking at the Eleven Rack User Guide documentation and following along with it? It is very clear and well written.

So..... what exactly are your options for input?

Did you Default the IO? All of it?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Rjk5qVFEE8

Have you tried trashing databases and prefs? Do that first, then Default the IO.

You can also update Pro Tools to 10.3.7

Are you using AUDIO tracks? Mono or Stereo?

Is the RIG INPUT of the Eleven Rack set to Guitar?

Thanks for helping me figure that out!

I had to default "all" of the i/o settings…

Benoni, I did watch the video, did a clean test session, then went to the session I was working on and default the settings and that was it!!

Thanks
