structure crashes 1 incidence

Free - v1.5.10.82e5fd3. Just installed today from my acct page.
Did I take the wrong one?

I just installed AIR Structure 2.0.11, latest version. Got it on sale for $10(!). Suited me fine, because I received a session with Structure.

I have barely opened it, and it seems to work - only thing is what seems to be a graphic glitch; the whole Avid-part of the plugin window (with presets saving and so on) is white. I close the plugin window and open it again, and its OK. It's old. Plays fine, though.

You should check the AIR website for latest version.

Added: Ah, I see you added that your talking 'free' version. Then I don't know, I've had that forever, using it occasionally, never had a problem

Nice workaround, as Structure 2 - macOS Catalina, Big Sur & Monterey Compatible (M1 Mac not supported)

Something to remember, before installing your next Pro Tools update:
remove Structure 2 (Full version) from your Plug-Ins Folder and save it elsewhere, as installing AIR Instruments (included with Pro Tools) adds Structure Free, which used to delete Structure Full.
Doubt whether this issue has been fixed yet, so I install AIR Instruments, delete Structure Free, then replace it with my (quarantined) Structure Full.

Thanx for the info. I hope I can remember it at the next crossroads. But then, my plan is to reinstate and get current when PT gets native and reasonably stable on apple silicon, and I guess Structure won't make it thru the night.

dl'd 2.07 for Mac OS which was all I could find.
crashed as before both the VI and PT 2022.9.
Sent them a tech support request. But I'm sure I can find a Structure alternative for as often as I might use it.

Completely uninstall 2.07

Run the free CCleaner for Mac then hit the 'Registry' button in the LH column.

Hit the 'Scan for Issues' button - once 100% done - hit the 'Review selected Issues' button - save changes when prompted by hitting the 'Yes' button to back up the Registry

Repeat 'Scan for Issues' until no more Issues are found

Hit 'Fix All Selected Issues' button then the 'Close' button

Exit CCleaner and restart computer


Download and install:

Structure_2.0.11.21000_Setup_macOS-GM

Restart computer
Launch Pro Tools

I didn't follow your method exactly as I don't know that CCleaner has cleaned up it's own act where the Mac OS is concerned.

But I did trash AIR Music Tech completely.
Then AppCleaner, Disk 1st Aid, & Onyx before a restart.
Installed Structure from your link.
DFA again and restarted.

Launched PT.
Structure loaded and loaded it's various bits and had no graphic issues as indicated above.

Time will tell.

Now to try and get my head around it. Just really looking to replace a snare and kick in a track I have with my sample.
