Default Move MIDI note to Cursor

Hey all!

Is there a way to make a MIDI note snap to the cursor location with a click/key command? For example, with an audio clip I can put the cursor somewhere and CTRL-click and the audio clip will snap to the cursor location. I use this all the time. Is there a MIDI equivalent?

Usage example: I have a drum loop and I'm layering MIDI under it. I record some MIDI and want to line it up with the loop. Ideally I'd tab to transient on the audio and then with the MIDI track in 'notes' on EDIT view hit a key/click combo and my MIDI note would move to where the cursor was.

Does that make sense? Seems like a easy/cool thing to do and it'd be great if this worked somehow.

Thank guys!

Mike

MAC
1. Make sure the Grabber tool is selected, or the Smart Tool.
2. Hover the Hand icon over the MIDI note.
3. Hold down the control key - the hand icon will change.
4. Left click the note.
The note will move to the cursor.
This won't work if the Grabber Tool is set to Separation (scissors).

Command-Control-click will move the right edge of the note to the cursor.

WINDOWS
I think the commands are Start-click and Control-Start-click

Aaaaaaaa!!! So it works exactly how I expected it to, except I was hovering over the leftmost portion of the MIDI note with the Smart Tool so was getting the Trim tool instead of the Grabber tool! Thank you!!
