Not really new. Connector has been out for a while now. Potentially a new way of using it for remote collaboration over the internet though.

I only got the email about it yesterday, so didn't realize Connector had been out for a while.

I like SonoBus for remote collaboration and they just added VDONinja for video. Best part, both apps are free.

Thanks. I'm familiar with vdo.ninja. I'm just not seeing where or how there's added support for it in Sonobus.

It was added in release 1.6.0 and improved in release 1.6.1, but is, for some reason, not specifically on their website. I got the news about it in an email from Sonosaurus.

Connector was indeed released a year ago, as a tool to connect pro audio apps together on one or several computers.

The initial idea was actually to stream audio & MIDI between remote locations with low latencies, but we were able to validate this usage just recently, after the fiber finally made it to the office! It's amazing that modern networks now let you play with other musicians remotely!
