I accidentally posted this in the m-powered forum by mistake earlier this week. Long week......
------- We have been running PT LE 7.1.1cs1 on a MacPro with no problems for about a month. Today, no matter what is plugged into (or if nothing is plugged into) Mic 3 or 4, there is a loud constant static noise (peaks at -12 dB) when record-enabling tracks with Mic 3 or 4 as input. Mic 1 & 2 inputs are fine. At first, I thought it was the snake, but in troubleshooting, the snake appears to be fine. This is a new 002 (less than 2 months). Any suggestions other than calling up Digi and getting the board repaired? Elsa |

Bizarrely, when I turned the 002 off and back on (even though I did this yesterday), the static went away.
I don't get it, but at least everything works again. Elsa |
