Default no horizontal scrolling in LE

Need some help folks.

I have a Macally dot mouse that worked perfectly when scrolling horizontally in the edit window when used with the shift key. Now it won't.

I did, for whatever dumb reason, download the input manager for the dot mouse. Thats when the troubles began. I've deleted the "input manager" from Macally, and still no luck.

I have LE version 4.2 running on Leopard 10.5.

Do I have to re-install Leopard, or re-install PT LE? Or, hopefully there is a process running that I can't find thats creating the problem.

Would really appreciate the assistance.
