Q6600 ON PROTOOLS 6.4 WITH DIGI 001 HELP.......

MY SYSTEM DONT WORK WITH PT 6.4 . I USE DIGI 001. EVERY TIME I LAUNCH PT 6.4 THE BLUE SCREEN APPEARS. I NEED HELP TO FIX THIS.

MY CONFIG IS:

CORE 2 QUAD Q6600
P5B DELUXE
2 GB RAM
DIGI 001
PT 6.4

A blue screen on program start is an indication that you need to update your PACE drivers from www.paceap.com

You need to install the latest PACE Drivers.

That usually cure's the blue screen of death with 6.4

Make sure you install the latest version of 6.4cs9 along with a the 6.4cs6 plug in updater-they are free updates.

How's your system doing?
I myself have a trusty 001 and was wondering how they worked with the current Quads.
I'm aware of the single core limitation, but I also run 7.3 M-Powered in a dual boot system.
I'd still like to use my 001 for tracking, but have you got it working on your quad without problems?
I'm looking to build one myself and am checking out other peoples experiences.

Some one else had MIX running 6.4 fine on a Q6600. If you look in the TDM forums you might find the posts. It was about month ago.
