What is the most modern A/D converter out there? Because my rosetta 200 is too vintage wounding. Sounds very 60s and washed out.. and even a bit thin... I am not saying it in a bad way but this is just not my style of converter. I need a more modern sounding converter with a more deeper 3D sort of synthetic sound. Can I use th Avid HD converters to my M-audio sound card optically even though I do not use HD? Basically the idea to just use the avid HD convertes for conversion only. Because I heard they sound modern.
Which one should I upgrade to for that sound? Because my access virus synthesizer on VC plug-in mode sounds WHEYYY too modern compared to whatever I convert through my Rosetta and the sound is not consistently matched up to that very synthetic but dark Virus sound - so I obviously need a more suitable converter to have more consistent sound with that very artificial sort of modern vibe of my Virus. What A/D converter should I go with for that very extremely synthetic big 3D sound? Because the Rosetta is not doing it. Prism Sound Orpheus Metric Halo Symphony RME Weiss SSL Lavry Blue Lucid Drawmer Radar? And which condenser mic is best for this colored modern sound too? |
