HELP! Problems opening PT session

A client had sent me PT LE 6.4 session using Yousendit.com. The audio files seem fine but when I try and open the session file with PT 6.9 it says its not a PT file. I tried putting .ptf on the end of the file name and opening it in PT 7.1 but I get the following error message.

"Could not complete request because it was determined the session version is too old while translating document info"

I also get this error when I try importing the session data into a PT 7.1 new session.


Any advice much appreciated

Hi,

See if you can get them to send just the session file again incase it got currupt during the send process!
Are you both using Mac's and are the computers used to send the files Mac's??

You can send me just the session file and i'll check it for you later! but i'm bouncing a 2 hour show right now with 1 hour left, but i'll gladly check it my end? e-mail to [email protected]
