Default Overdub a track

I'm playing my drums real-time with a midikeyboard on my PT Le7.
I want to play snare and bassdrum on one take, and highhat ect on the next take.

1) How do i overdub a track?
2) Is it a better way to do this with f.ex BFD/DFHS?
