Default Re: what motherboard should i get 4 digi 001?

I had a socket 754 AMD socket 754 board running the KM800 chipset with the 8237R south bridge and it ran PT just fine.

I would update that to XP. Install 2 GB of DDR400 and drop in something like a E 2180 Pentium Dual Core CPU (if it will run one). You will also need a AGP video card and a internal HDD for your audio.

Check the motherboards manufacturers site to see what types of modern CPUs you can install into it. If you can install a more modern dual core processor I would maybe add the memory and video card. If your stuck with a single core Pentium 4 I would not put any money into it at all.
