That CPU won't run a 001 without a G3 upgrade card, which is an untested configuration that may or may not work.

You might want to wait to find out the results of other users with this combination before going out and buying a new computer. The 7300 won't be on the list of supported CPUs, but it may turn out that you can use it with a NewerTech or MaxPower G3 card for a lot less than a new machine. There may be other factors involved though, like the PCI bus speed, that I suppose could effect performance.
