Fader speed

Hi everyone,

My C8 faders have much more speed going down than up... is this supposed to happen?

Can't speak for inside PT (since my command|8 is permanently offline - see other post ), but there is a HW test:

• Press F1: Utility button
• Press Select button on fader 2 strip ("Fader")
• Press Select button on fader 2 strip again ("FadTst")

This starts a test. The faders go bottom-middle-top-middle back to bottom in a cycle. On my Command|8, it is the same up as down - fast!
To exit, press select(8) or F1: Utility.

Hey - wait a minute - just tried the Fader Group test: Yes, they are marginally faster down than up. But if I hadn't read this post, I would not have noticed. We're talking 10ths of a second here.

Hi

Well, i did those tests, my faders are fast going down, but going up they are half speed or so it seems, this gets really annoying in fast fader movements.
