Pro Series part of PT Studio?

Hi forum,

is the Pro Series Bundle part of the Pro Tools Studio subscription and perpetual license? The comparison chart is a bit vague on this.

Pro series what? You mean Pro plugins?. Those are included in the Avid Complete Plugin Bundle, which is included as a subscription with Pro Tools Studio, that runs either during the Pro Tools subscription period or the annual support/update plan period of a perpetual license. Those plugins stops working after that period unless you renew the update/support plan or main subscription.

Correct but they come with PT Studio and PT Ultimate and darryl is spot on with the comment that if you let the subscription lapse they stop working unless you renew before the grace period is over.

There are next to no plugins that come with Pro Tools as part of the perpetual license.
Only the ones really needed for Pro Tools to function.
Everything else is part of the "support plan" renewal. As long as you are on a support plan, they work. You can, however, buy the plugins outside of this to get perpetual licenses for those plugins.
