Default AMS and the vanishing MIDI ports

Hi all,

Pulling my hair out over this one, can't seem to find a workaround! I'm using a 002R and PTLE 7.1. I've got everything set up in the Audio Midi Setup so that my controller keyboard is pointing at the 002R. I'm even getting a flashing light on the I/O lights on the front of the 002R when I press the keys on my board.

My problem is that Pro Tools itself isn't seeing any MIDI inputs. If I create a MIDI track in PT the only input option I get is "All" and its already ticked. No communication whatsoever. I'm assuming this is something to do with OSX or Pro Tools itself. Does anyone have any ideas?

Cheers
Edge
