AFAIK the ASIO drivers you have seen for MAC is written by someone else than Steinberg or Digidesign. It must be an enthusiast programmer. Steinberg just listed it at their Website. This driver has horrible latency though. So it is not really usable with today's standards.
There is NO ASIO driver for Digi on the Windows side. The standard that Digi is trying to establish is called Direct I/O. I can not say it has been very successful so far. It is only compatible with Logic and it is not 100%. It has issues. So, I would buy Digi001+PT LE package only if i was interested in using/learning PT LE. This COMBO is a fine package which is very easy to learn and use. It is missing some modern features but we hope this will be better soon.
