Recorded Midi in session not playing back?
I have never tried to record MIDI before. Did it for the first time during live show and had no clue what I was doing. I pluged midi cable from out on keyboard to in on digi 002 rack, ok, opened midi track and it seemed to work but I could not hear it. There seemed to be a signal because the volume was moving up and down and there were noted on the midi track. I did not have time to play aroung with it so I left it and recorded the show. I have six other tracks in the recording as well. Now when I playback the session I can not get anything at all from the midi track. I am lost, midi stupid. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Re: Recorded Midi in session not playing back?

Set up a AUX Track and insert a Virtual Instrument into it. In your MIDI track's Output select which device you want to use, record arm the MIDI track and select Input Monitor Mode and you can hear what you are playing. Hope this helps. filosofem
