Using Quicktime MIDI or Garageband MIDI in PTs?
Hi
First post - so be kind!lol! Strange question really - have been using Ptools for some time - and this is somewhat of a backward question but does anybody know if it is possible to use the MIDI sounds of Quicktime or better-still Garageband in Pro-Tools? What I am trying to do is use my Edirol midi controller in pro-tools to record in Midi but do not want to use the 'dance based' software plug-ins that came with Pro-Tools or use rewire to Reason. I am simply after a general midi quicktime set of midi sounds - which I was under the impression was on the apple sound card or in Quicktime? Equipment/OS: Imac G5, OSX, Pro-Tools & MBox and Edirol PCR-M1 midi controller. Cheers - any help appreciated! |
