Can Positive Grids Spark amp be used as an interface with PTF or is it considered third party and unable to use like the third party plugin?. It comes up in PTF as an option but does not come up as an input.

I think you should be able to use the amp as your interface, looking at the specs of it. Can you set it as your Playback Engine?
Make sure you've installed the latest driver for it. I'm not 100% sure it is an ASIO driver, if not you'd be better getting a proper audio interface. http://akmedia.digidesign.com/suppor...uide_85130.pdf Joel

I have a Focusrite AI that I use with PTF, however getting my guitar tones with my Tonelab Desktop leaves something to be desired. The Spark came with a Studio One 5 DAW and it works perfectly with the Studio One 5, however I'd like to use the Spark with the PTF and as I said it comes up as a playback engine but not a recording engine. The only output the Spark has besides the headphone out is a USB out, that is how it communicates with the DAW. I can get all the tones out of my Spark perfectly communicated to the DAW which is what I'm trying to do with PTF. Hopefully all this makes sense to you.
