Default setting up cue mixes w/001?

hey y'all - Since I'm a newbee to this new-fangled, high fallutin' world of daw recording, would some of you guys explain how you set up your cue mixes with the 001? I don't have a mixer yet (am thinking about the mackie-1624vlz) in the meantime....can this be done sufficiently with just the 001's outputs?
thanks for any info!
