Default HOW to record the click to a track?

Would anyone be so kind as to let me in on the secret of how to record the click. i need to have a track that is JUST click for live purposes.

set your click trk. output to a bus, like 1, - then choose/create an audio trk., set the input to the same bus no., record arm the audio track and start recording.

if you find the click sounds in PTLE to harsh, you can also create your own custom click trk. with any soft or hardware midi sound module.
