Cannot create a file when that file already exists. (183)
Hi all,
I am having a nightmarish problem with only 1 Plug-in out of over 100. My XLN Addictive drums when I save my plug-in preset ANYWHERE I keep getting this Error. XLN has been great they have really looked into it and they swear it's a Pro Tools permission problem. Pro Tools tech support has been horrific, I have been waiting 4 days for them to call for remote support and they are doing my head in. They email to ask if I'm available and I respond yes and sit by my phone for HOURS!!!! 4 Days in a ROW!! Does anyone know what can be done about this error. I am on Windows 10, 32GB all the bells and whistles. The error is as follows Cannot create a file when that file already exists. (183) It seems to be a permission issue but just when I think I got it , it just keeps happening. It has been going on for months. I surrendered my perpetual license to go for the subscription in the hope some more money would fix the problem it hasn't. I am using the latest version of PT as well. Any ideas?? Thanks Gerry C |
