It won't. Pro Tools cannot do this without the Renderer doing a proper down mix. Expecting Pro Tools to "crash" down the channels is going to result in improper representation of your mix.

Pro Tools can do offline or realtime bounces of Re-renders as long as the Renderer is attached and you have the proper re-renders assigned in the Renderer
