Default Can't (re) download Pro Tools 8 on my account after a clean install of windows

Hi,

Just put in two new internal hard disks in my computer and did a clean install of windows (XP). Went to my AVID account and tried to download Pro Tools 8 (have done this before with no problems) - it appeared to download a 1kb file on my computer that contained nothing. If I tried to open the file the message stated the compressed file was corrupted.

Any ideas?

Try downloading it again. Perhaps try a different browser.

Do you have a good internet speed? I suspect that the whole file hasn't been downloaded which can happen if the download is taking too long.

Try downloading it again. If your connection speed isn't great, try doing it from another computer with a better connection or in the middle of the night when traffic is minimal.

Oh yes, as Sunburst suggests, a different browser.

I had the same issue downloading 9.0.3 I would do the download from work on a wan with pretty good band width.

3 downloads, and 3 corrupt files.

4th time from home on HSI, no issues.
