Default Pro tools 9.0.2 and osx 10.6.7

I normally don't hurry into OS updates but the App store fix is something I can use. Has anyone tried this combo yet?

All good here too. MacPro 2.8 8 Core. Would love the ability to turn off software monitoring.

I have a new quad i7 MacBook Pro 17" with 10.6.7 and PT 9.0.2, it plays and records perfectly, but has a graphics freeze every 10 seconds or so for about a half a second. It gets annoying while editing.

Did this happen after the update to 10.6.7?

Hello All...I'm fairly new to Pro Tools...and, apparently I've screwed myself, lol

I have Pro Tools 9.0.2 and use a Digi 003...all was working fine until recently...and the only thing that has changed is updated my mac osx from 10.6.6 to 10.6.7...now...Pro Tools will crash unexpectedly in frequent randomness, and I get no audio from my Pro Tools sessions...all the I/O settings look correct...but still no audio...I know the 003 is still working properly, because I can listen to Pandora and utilize my 003 and monitors...I read the previous post and repaired my permissions following the update...but, still no luck The only thing I didn't do, was run the "combo"...I just ran the update from the automated update installer...and then things started to act funky in Pro Tools...I'm currently downloading the combo updater from Apple's site and I'll go to disk utility and repair permissions following the update...any suggestions anyone may have will be greatly appreciated!!

Thx

Short of what you've already done, you might have to do a clean install of your OS to get things back on track. I've been there myself before, and now I always wait for Avid to approve any future Apple updates. In many cases, they do very little, so you're not doing yourself any favours by going against the recommendations.
