Default Split window header on Mac - Weird ?

Hi Guys , im puzzled why on PT2021.6 ..,
at the top of my attached screenshot just under the top song title,
- you notice my edit widow (same also on my mix window)
- it is showing the page split in two?

ie ; just under the top song title.., with the song title showing edit on the left, and mix in the right)

Im getting tech support ATM
- to adjust my SLATE RAVEN fader overlays correctly, and since the 2021.6.0 update I cannot make this happen.
The Slate raven support guy is puzzled by this split window heading , and so am I ..,

Does anyone here have an insight as to why the screen is like this

.., as neither of us has seen this before on pro tools, as i need to clear this matter before i seek further support.
note ; i didn't have an issue aligning my raven before the 2021.6 update.

Note; my edit window operated as normal while this heading remained there (as shown in the screenshot) , and so does my mix window when i switch to that.

I have also totally deleted pro tools and all associated files with it from my mac this morning and then reinstalled everything but its still there?

Regards.

+1.

I was about to type an answer that this is probably the built in macos split screen thing that you can get in 'Mission Control', but it's not. That would have shown a 50% mix and 50% edit window, and your screenshot shows the mix window, and only the header is split. So I think it's a PT thing.

It's been happening to me too lately, sometimes when I open a session. I can see that it's a handy thing and many will find it useful, but I usually just find a way to exit it, and I haven't thought much about it. I can't find anything in the Window or View menus that would rhyme with it either. And I'm on 2020.11, so it's nothing to do w/2021.6.

Nobody know anything about this?

Hi Ben , thanks for your reply.

Its weird alright,
- and you've got it on 2020.11 and only seen this issue 'just lately'

I've looked through every page on Pro Tools preference windows etc. ..,
and i didnt notice anything mentioning it
.., and i'm suspecting that extra line of screen real estate could exactly be what's now preventing my RAVEN faders from lining up correctly as they should.

I need to get rid off that scripting (in my screenshot ) to find out if this is the case (or not)?

This is a screenshot showing my MIX widow.
Note ; the weird (split screen section) at the top saying EDIT and MIX
I think this extra real estate section being used is preventing my ravens (longer) fader overlays from lining up correctly, where its also preventing the raven fader from showing the metering etc

Thank you. You're right, I found it.

Another thing, though, I get three options there, to open windows in tabs:
Always
In full screen only
Manually

So I set it to manually.
Not shure exactly what that means, though.

In Full Screen Only is the OS default
