Default D-Vert troubleshoot

When I put the D-Verb CD in, nothin happens, and no files are available when viewing the disk's contents, which appear to be emtpy.

Any ideas?

Install from the floppy disk provided.

My brother had the same thing on his CD labeled dverb and digi said to install from the pt CD and use the authorization floppy

I thought the floppy was just an authorization disk, which I expected to be prompted for once I got an install running.

Insert the floppy and drag the "copy DeAuthorizer to hard drive" folder onto your hard drive. then open the folder on your hard drive and click on the icon. this installs the "authorizer" to your hard drive. then insert you PTLE setup disk and go to the "digidesign demo plug ins" folder. Find the d verb folder and click on the install icon.

Its in the "plug ins guide" pdf file that gets loaded with pro tools. you can
get to it from the start menu , then program files, then pro tools documentation ( i think). there is a read me file on the dverb floppy that explains it all. i still wonder why that cdr of the dverb is included.

Wait, I need to authorize before I install the plugin. <Goes running from Laptop to DAW to re image DAW and try it>
