Default Working with Picture Question

When you drag a region around you can watch the video move accordingly, based on the start of the region. Is there a way that you can have PT base the current picture location based on the END of a region? This way you could drag the region to where the picture goes to black for instance, and know your music ended in the proper place. I tried using Identify Sync point but this didn't do it.

Thanks
Tom

How about if you drag a region around until its beginning point syncs with black, and then write down the "coordinates" for that region start time.

Then do an "identify sync point using the end of the region and the coordinates that you wrote down earlier.

Would that work for you? Hopefully it made sense.

Yeah good idea! I think PT should have this feature built in....say, a "Flip Region Sync" command. But yep that would work, thanks.

place your curser where you want the region end and then cmd+ctrl click the region.
It will move the end to the desired spot. If you want to copy the region to this spot, cmd+alt+ctrl click.
fastest way to do this task.

There is a few good ways to do it but you could drag a region and watch the video move accordingly, based on the start of the region then hit "k" while in focus mode to move the end of the region at the start location. Or Hit "j" if you want the "sync point" to move at the start of the region.
