Successful Artist/Euphonix install update
Hey DUC,
Just wanted to report out on my Artist/Euphonix install with Pro Tools 10.0.1 and Leopard 10.6.8. No, I haven't tried any of the updates since I haven't ran into any issues over the late month. I replaced my 32 Fader ProControl rig with 3 Euphonix MC Mix's, Artist Control, and Euphonix MC Transport. Also, some may have noticed that I updated two of my Euphonix MC Mix's with the new Artist Mix Faceplates that I got from Avid (ck out the YouTube post I have on the DUC about how to do that) I haven't had one crash with daily usage of Pro Tools 10.0.1 and Logic 9. The only thing that I don't like so far is Eucon's inability to bank all 28 faders without making a "Show/Hide" soft key to do so. Other than that, Eucon is extremely powerful and working great here.

Re: Successful Artist/Euphonix install update
Hi thanks for your posts, repair videos etc. Just out of interest since I notice you use all three units, the Mix,Control and Transport, which would you recommend most for a smaller pro tools setup? A mix and transport, a mix and control, or a control on its own? Thanks for any help.

Re: Successful Artist/Euphonix install update
Hello,
For a smaller setup, I would say that a Mix and Transport would be fine. You still would have the option to program softkeys on the Transport to do some of the functions that you could do on the Control. I'm really enjoying mine. I have fairly large mixes that I work with so having 28 faders gives me better workflow personally.
