Default PTLE 7.1 PLAYBACK NOT LOOPING

I just know this is going to be a really stupid thing on my part but...

I just upgraded to LE 7.1 my set up is a Powermac G4, MBOX, OS 10.4.8 PTLE 7.1. Among the many things I am having trouble figuring out in theis new version. I can not get the playback to start at the selected position, or loop. Loop playback is selected in the Operations list. But if hit play it always starts at the beginning and doesnt loop the selection. Therefor I cant bounce selected samples.

Thank you
