Default Copy all from location to location question!

Hi,

I'm trying to copy ALL regions and data from one location to another and i can't get it to copy everything!! i have set the track view to blocks(on audio tracks) and volume (on aux tracks) and this didn't work, then tried regions view on audio tracks and still it wouldn't copy everything!! i had to copy each bit one at a time!? volume/plugin automation etc etc.

Is there a quick way to copy everything in one move? i thought i had done this before with no probs before version 7! or maybe i didn't!!!

Chris

Are you using the 'all' group? I've had problems before where I've selected a bunch of tracks/events and copied them, then put the cursor where I wanted them and pasted. There were problems if I didn't make sure the edit selection cursor wasn't extending across all of the tracks where I'd copied from. Does that make ANY sense at all??

Just a thought…

Is “Automation Follows Edits” checked?

Up to 6.9 is was found in the “Operations” menu (don’t know where it resides under 7.0, which I have yet to install).

IHTH.
